Roblin Lake Camp

Roblin Lake Camp is a Salvation Army camp located in Ameliasburg, Ontario serving Kingston and the greater Frontenac County area.

The Rotary Club of Picton in Prince Edward County contributed $550 to The Salvation Army in order to pay the registration for three children to attend a Roblin Lake summer camp in 2006.

[edit] Structure

Roblin Lake Camp holds five week-long non-profit adventure camps for underpriviledged children ages 7-12 every summer. Campers can take part in activities such as drama, canoeing, arts and crafts, and swimming. Other week-long summer camps for children include Music Camp, Moms & Kids Camp, and Pioneer Club Camp. A special guest is invited to Music Camp each year. Several well-known musicians have been guests at the camp, notably David Catherwood. Men's Camp, Women's Ministries, and Senior's Camp are also held. Facilities at Roblin Lake include a basketball court, a baseball field, an outdoor swimming pool, and a miniature golf course. Foosball, archery, shuffleboard, boating, volleyball, air hockey, and street hockey are common recreational activities played throughout the summer.
