Away from his men, Robin Hood sees a bishop and realizes he will hang if caught. He appeals to an old woman for aid. Because he had given her both shoes and socks, she exchanges clothing with him. The bishop catches the woman, and Robin comes back to his band, though Little John does not recognize him. The band catches the bishop, robs him of five hundred pounds, and force him to say Mass for them.
