Robin Ellis

Robin Ellis (born January 8, 1942 London) is an English actor who is best remembered as having starred in both Poldark mini-series on television, playing Captain Ross Poldark. He also appeared in Fawlty Towers, Cluedo The Good Soldier and Elizabeth R. He is the author of a book called Making Poldark, about the series. He is married and lives in Southern France. His brother is the actor Jack Ellis.
