Robin Douglas-Home

Cecil Robin Douglas-Home (8 May 1932 – 1968) was a Scottish aristocrat and jazz pianist.
Robin Douglas-Home was the eldest son of the Honourable Henry Douglas-Home from his first marriage to Lady Margaret Spencer. His uncle was the former British Prime Minister Sir Alec Douglas-Home and his younger brother Charles Douglas-Home edited "The Times".
Douglas-Home was a popular jazz pianist and he was a leading society figure during the 1950s and 1960s. He married the fashion model Sandra Paul in 1959 and they had a son Sholto in 1962. The couple were divorced in 1965 following his well publicised romance with Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon. He committed suicide in 1968, aged 36.
