Robin Colcord, was a character on the American television show Cheers, portrayed by Roger Rees. Robin was an executive at the fictional Lillian Corporation, and spent most of his time on Cheers as Rebecca's love interest. He had a high sense of self-importance, was somewhat manipulative, and often made condescending remarks. He felt he could buy off anyone, which often proved accurate at Cheers.
Robin's company was independent from Rebecca Howe's company and never bought Cheers from Sam at the end of Season 5. Rebecca, not Robin, oversees Cheers for the company. Sam was ripped off by Colcord and Colcord did offer to buy the bar back from Rebecca's company for Sam, but Robin never owned Cheers himself. Amidst scandal, Robin is arrested and disappears from Cheers in season 9. He appears a final time in the last season as a broke man trying to find out if Rebecca really loved him, or just his money.
