Robin Askwith

Robin Askwith (born October 12, 1950 in Southport) is an English film actor, most famous for his role as "Timmy Lea" in the Confessions... sex comedies. He also appeared in one Carry On film, Carry On Girls. Askwith was not the original choice for the lead role in the Confessions films. He was the third choice after the role was turned down by the two previous candidates for it, Richard Beckinsale and Dennis Waterman.
Still active on the stage, he is currently preparing “Paint It Black”, a one-man show based on the life and death of Brian Jones.
