Robin Aitken

Robin Aitken is a former BBC journalist. He was educated at Bristol University and joined the BBC in 1978, working initially on Radio Brighton and eventually finishing his BBC career on the Today programme.

In 2005, he left the BBC and wrote a book in which he asserted that the BBC is guilty of an "unconscious, institutionalised Leftism". It is published by Continuum (February 2007) under the title Can We Trust the BBC?
