Roberto Suazo Córdova

Roberto Suazo Córdova (b. 1927 in Tegucigalpa) was the President of Honduras from January 27, 1982 to January 27, 1986. Originally a rural doctor, he became head of the Liberal Party of Honduras (PLH) in 1979.
He was democratically elected in the elections of November 29, 1981, ending 18 years of military rule.
