    Roberto Novoa (born August 15, 1979 in Las Matas de Farfan, Dominican Republic) is a pitcher in Major League Baseball. Novoa currently plays for the Chicago Cubs after making his major league debut in 2004 with the Detroit Tigers. In the 2004/2005 offseason, Novoa was traded to the Cubs along with minor leaguers Scott Moore and Bo Flowers for Kyle Farnsworth.
