Roberto Colciago

Roberto Colciago is a race car driver born in Saronno, Italy on the 4 April 1968. He raced in Formula 3000 in 1991 but did not score any points, with an 8th place at Vallelunga as his best result. From late 2000 to the end of the 2002 season he raced for Audi in the Swedish Touring Car Championship, winning two driver's titles. In 2001 he also raced in the European Super Touring Championship for Audi, claiming two race wins and finished 6th overall. In 2002 he moved to Alfa Romeo, but with the main focus at STCC. After leaving the Swedish championship after the 2002 season he continued with Alfa Romeo in ETCC for 2003, taking two race wins and finishing 6th overall. In 2004 he raced in the Italian Touring Master Cup in an Alfa Romeo 147 Gta, taking three race wins and finishing 2nd overall.

He returned to ETCC (now transformed into the World Touring Car Championship) in 2005 driving for Honda, ending up 19th overall with a 7th place as his best race result. He was rumoured to return to STCC for the 2006 Season but instead raced for SEAT in the Italian Touring Car Championship.

For 2007 Roberto has been confirmed as driving for SEAT Sport Italy in the WTCC
