From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rob "The T-Man" Tepper is a Seattle, Washington-based morning radio personality, who heads the "T-Man Show" morning broadcast on KUBE-FM. His humor and cast of characters known as the "Dysfunctional Family" have made him the highest rated morning personality in Seattle.[citation needed]

Before becoming KUBE FM morning DJ, he worked a night time show on sports radio KJR-AM 950 and was eventually transfered to sister station KUBE in 1995.

In August 2001, Tepper caused controversy over news of a 26-year-old Tacoma-area woman, whose boyfriend broke up with her, unsuccesfully attempted suicide by jumping off the Interstate 5 Ship Canal Bridge in Seattle. Tepper didn't seem to be sympathetic of the woman for electing to cause morning rush hour traffic to come to a two hour stand-still and played splash sound effects during the morning broadcast[1]

In September 2006, The T-Man Show was added to KYLD-FM in San Francisco, California the countries 4th largest market. He broadcasts live from both Seattle and San Francisco, alternating on a weekly basis. Both stations are Clear Channel-owned stations. Many estimates have Tepper's individual salary to be amongst the top 20 highest paid person's in all of radio at the present time.[citation needed]

In the fall of 2006 the T-Man Show became the highest rated english speaking morning show for adults 18-34 in the Bay Area after 3 months of broadcasts.[citation needed]
