[edit] Robert Wildmore

Driven by a desire to see people in need helped by the efforts of people's normal economic activity, Robert Wildmore, together with colleague Kevin Stoker, founded the Global Affinity business. The concept was to utilise the power of relationship marketing in order to raise funds for good causes and further assist the distribution of ecologically friendly products around the world.

Asked about his decision to create this vehicle, Wildmore replied "Well, it certainly would have been easier to have stayed retired and have the easy life, but I had a vision of creating a really special entity, a place with real magic and spirit for people to enjoy creating a second income for themselves while helping others; a place where ordinary people's communal efforts could lead to extraordinary results by creating a legacy income for the less fortunate."

Wildmore went on to say that, "Whilst it is fantastic that people like Bill Gates and Warren (Buffett) are giving away their fortunes to good causes, in case this level of philanthropy doesn't happen in the future, we wanted to build a corporation that was designed to give from day one so that the bigger it became, the more it would give and become the Global Giving Business."

A qualified Chartered Surveyor by profession, Wildmore had previously been involved with many charitable activities including co-founding the Community Sports Foundation which provided free sports facilities for children in deprived inner city areas and also co-Founded the Autistic Resource Centre.

Born in Hertfordshire England in 1954, Wildmore developed a passion for helping others from an early age. This he put down to the influence of his Grandmother, Lena. Educated at Aldenham School, Elstree and the London College of Land Studies, he has one Son, Miles, living in America and two daughters, Anna-Louise and Amelia Jane who live in England.
