Robert Wickman

Robert Wickman J.D., (born in Philadelphia, PA) is a writer and former singer/guitar player for the Hip-Hop/Rock band Black Earth. He has also been called "Bobbi Rage" and "ClubMan".

Robert works independently as a writer, but also shares his talents with Boldylocks Media Group, a small movie, video, production company in San Diego founded by April Bolds and Richard Franklin in early 2001 in San Diego California.

Robert wrote and starred in, a short film, "IL FATAS [no subtitles]" in late 2001/early 2002 which went on to win two awards at the New York International Film and Video Festival (Best Experimental Short Film and Best Score Short Film 2002).

He is the son of James Wickman, a jazz musician and alumnus of The Boston Conservatory of Music; and Consuelo Wickman, a Teacher, who holds a B.A. from Temple University and a Master's Degree in Spanish from La Salle University.

Robert earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) in 1987 and a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law (Washington D.C.) in 1990.

He is currently working on a memoir, tentatively entiled "ClubMan", chronicling the many adventures and mishaps revolving around the Southern California club scene over the past ten years.
