Robert Whitaker is an international showjumper who rides for the British Team. Robert is the son of the legend John Whitaker and nephew of Michael. So his natural flair and talent for riding is definitely in his blood. Robert was born on January 26th and lives in Huddersfield, Yorkshire.

Robert has represented the British Team many times from Junior pony level right the way up to the senior ranks. He is definitely a prospect for both the next Olympics and indeed the future.

Robert has ridden many horses at the highest level. Some of his current team are: Karina, Lacroix 9 and Finbarr 6. He has also previously ridden the brilliant horse Arko, now competing extremely successfully with Nick Skelton.
