Robert W Kirkwood Highway

The Robert W Kirkwood Highway is a major thoroughfare in northern New Castle County, Delaware.

It was named for Revolutionary War hero Major Robert W. Kirkwood.

Kirkwood Highway comprises a part of the length of Delaware State Highway 2 starting in the town of Elsmere at the Little Mill Creek crossing adjacent to the V.A. Hospital. From there Kirkwood Highway travels westward to Prices Corner.

The Kirkwood Highway terminates in the city of Newark, Delaware. The highway intersects East Main Street (Delaware State Route 2 Business and Delaware State Route 273 west) at the end of the Kirkwood Highway.
