[edit] About Robert
He's notorious for the number of romantic relationships in which he engaged and for his long standing feud with Andy Sugden, mainly because Andy was responsible for a fire that killed Sarah, Robert's Stepmother who he considered to be his real mother (Robert's biological mother Pat had died in a car crash when he was only three months old). This feud led to several violent incidents and was escalated when Robert had an affair with Katie, his brothers wife in 2004. This resulted in Andy attempting to shoot Robert and Katie, but he ending up wounding Jack in the process.
Robert and Katie remained together until Katie found out about Robert's affair with Sadie King and left Emmerdale. Robert then began a relationship up with Debbie Dingle, the mother of his Niece, Sarah in a plan to take Sarah away from the village and hurt Andy again.
Robert left Emmerdale in October 2005, following an accident in which Max King was killed when Andy's tractor overturned and exploded.
