Robert Stoddard

Robert Stoddard is Vice President for Development and Relations at Lebanese American University. Stoddard has a B.A. in religion from The College of Wooster and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. He has served as an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and has been a professional fundraiser since 1973 for the Church as well as in the fields of historic and environmental preservation, performing arts, YMCAs, community development in Egypt, and higher education. He previously served Beirut University College as Director of Development for North America from 1979–1988. Most recently he was Senior Vice President for MacIntyre Associates, a campaign management firm in Wilmington. He has been a member of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.
Mr. Stoddard organized and co-founded Grand Opera House, Inc., (Delaware’s Center for the Performing Arts), The League of Historic American Theatres, Inc., and the Peace Meal program for persons with HIV/AIDS. He is a member of West Presbyterian Church in Wilmington where he sings in the choir.
This person should not be confused with the singer and guitarist also known as Robert Stoddard.
