Robert Schumann Musics College

The Robert-Schumann-Hochschule (Robert Schumann Musics College) is a college for music studies in Düsseldorf, Germany.

In 1935 three private musics school were merged together to the Robert Schumann Conservatorium, named by the composer Robert Schumann, who lived a long while in Düsseldorf.
In 1972 the state of North Rhine-Westphalia is the responsible body for the musics college. It became part of the public college for musics in the Rhineland. In 1987 it became a college of its own and got its actual name.

The college offers studies for:

- (classical) singing studies
- musics education
- Roman-Catholic Church musics
- Protestant Church musics
- sound engineering (technical studies)
The college has about 41 professors, 160 lecturers and 600 students. The sudy fees in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia are actually (2006) about 500 Euro (550 $) per semster (1,000 resp. 1,100 per year).
