Robert McQueen High School (McQ) is a public secondary school in Reno, Nevada, in the United States. Part of the Washoe County School District, its mascot is the Lancer and the school's colors are blue and gray. The school has earned the nickname "The Academy on the Hill" because it is located in the foothills of northwest Reno and overlooks the Truckee Meadows.

The school was named for Dr. Robert McQueen, now emeritus professor of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno. The school opened in 1982. When the school was built, adjoining Seventh Street and Robb Drive were only dirt roads extended out to allow access to the school. Since then, the construction of numerous subdevelopments has resulted in overcrowding problems. Enrollment in 2003 was 1,877 students; the building was designed for an enrollment of 1600. In order to mitigate overcrowding concerns and comply with local fire regulations, several modular classrooms have been added to the campus.
In 2005, Newsweek listed McQueen as the 442nd best school in the United States using the ratio of number of AP exams taken to graduating students as its criterion.

The Lancers compete in the High Desert League, which belongs to the Northern 4A Region. McQueen competes in the 4A level, which is the large school category.
- The varsity football team has won the state title five times since the school opened; 1990, 1992, 1997, 2000, and 2002. The Lancers play their home games at John Robb Stadium, located on campus.
- The girl's basketball team won the state title four consecutive years; 1996, 1997, 1998, and 1999.
- The softball team has won back-to-back state titles; 2005, 2006.
- The school has a regulation-size stadium and track and many practice fields for athletic use.

- Robert McQueen High School Band is the 9-time state marching band champion.[citation needed] The band played in the Inauguration Parade for George W. Bush in January 2005.
- The school song[1] is an arrangement of the Michigan State University Fight Song.
- In 2007, the McQueen orchestra was led to a 4th seed in the National String Instrument playoffs by their concert master Micheal Yoo.[citation needed]

- The Excalibur — monthly school newspaper, inducted into the National Scholastic Press Association's Hall of Fame in the fall of 2004, making it the only student publication in the state to be inducted

- Caxton — yearbook, awarded the national Silver Crown award, making it one of the top annual publications in the nation.
