Robert LaSardo is an American actor. Born Robert LoSardo on September 20, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York, United States. He acts in movies and television shows, with one of his most notable television portrayals being Escobar Gallardo from the first and fourth season of the TV series Nip/Tuck.

Starting in 2005, LaSardo portrayed the evil Manny Ruiz on the U.S. soap opera General Hospital until July 4, 2006 when his character was killed off by being thrown off the roof of General Hospital. As of December 2006, LaSardo has returned to the show, with his character impersonating a priest in Port Charles.

LaSardo has extensive chest, neck, and arm tattoos.

LaSardo is an Italian American, although he is most often cast as a Latino or Latin-American character.

Trivia: Robert Lasardo is reluctant to discuss his extensive tatoos {he calls them illustrations} but to reveal he has a sense of fun he will show the tatoo of Betty Boop which his has on his inner forearm.
