Robert G. Miller

Robert (Bob) Miller is Chairman of the Board of Rite-Aid, Inc., a retail pharmacy chain, a position he has held since December 1999. He was Chief Executive Officer of that company from December 1999 to July 2003. He was Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of The Kroger Co., a grocery supermarket company, from May 1999 until December 1999, Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Fred Meyer, Inc. a grocery supermarket company, from July 1998 to May 1999, and Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Fred Meyer, Inc., a food, drug and general merchandise chain from 1991 to July 1998.
Mr. Miller is also a director of Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc., the Jim Pattison Group, Nordstrom, Inc., a fashion specialty retailer, and Wild Oats Markets, Inc., a natural and organic foods retailer.
