Robert Fahey

Robert Fahey (born April 30, 1968, in Hobart, Tasmania, nickname "Bag") is an Australian real tennis player. He currently spends his time at the Burroughs Club in London training with head pro Rod McNaughton. On May 20, 2004, at the Newport Casino, he matched the great Pierre Etchebaster's feat of seven consecutive defenses of the real tennis singles World Championship, which he has held since 1994. On April 27, 2006, at the Oratory Tennis Club in Woodcote, South Oxfordshire, he again defended the title (a record eighth time) facing Tim Chisholm in his third consecutive challenge.
In 2000 and 2001 he won back-to-back Grand Slams. In 2003, partnered with Steve Virgona, he won the World Doubles Championship; the pair successfully defended the title in 2005.
