Robert Cavanah

Robert Cavanah is a Scottish actor who was born 20 December 1964 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Cavanah is currently appearing as hospital administrator Adam Carnegie in the ITV1 drama series The Royal.

Cavanah left school at the age of 15 but later graduated from The Drama Centre, part of the University of the Arts London.

Prior to his current role he has taken a wide range of guest roles including appearances in Silent Witness, Casualty and The Bill.

A previous role, for which he is widely known, is as Tommy Grant in the BBC1 soap opera EastEnders.

Cavanah has also starred in the 1998 BBC1 version of Emily Brontë's novel Wuthering Heights.
