Robert Bruce (b. 1955) is an English-born author living in Australia.

Bruce promotes a model of the "human energy body", and a system of stimulating the it, called "New Energy Ways" ('NEW'), using "bodily awareness" and "tactile imaging". The term RTZ was coined by Robert Bruce to distinguish the area of projection which is in what he calls "real time" from those in ethereal planes which allegedly may appear to be out of sync with real time.

Bruce's methods claim: to raise psi through the body to heal; to develop the human energy body to access its spiritual resources; and to remove energy blockages and stimulate clairient abilities. His influences include Robert Monroe and Franz Bardon.

Bruce presents workshops and lectures where he instructs in methods to raise chi, ching, shen, and energy, for the above purposes and for Astral Projection, and teaches techniques of projection to the Astral Planes and the Real Time Zone. He also provides consulting services on the internet, including assistance to parents dealing with night terrors in children.

Bruce has written about his purported mystical journeys in the book Astral Dynamics and co-authored Mastering Astral Projection with Brian Mercer. His 2002 book Practical Psychic Self Defense details methods of protecting against psychic and spiritual attacks by "negs" (a term coined by Robert Bruce to describe a variety of "negative energy entities").

Bruce is currently working on a treatise on the alleged "Uraeus Effect" of Kundalini yoga, to be published in a series of books on human energy work and spiritual practices, called, "Foundations of Energy Work" and "Energy Work Practices" and "Energy Work Ascension". The first of these books, "Foundations of Energy Work", is due for release by Hampton Roads, in Spring 2007.
