Robert Arbuthnot, 2nd Viscount of Arbuthnott

Robert Arbuthnot, 2nd Viscount of Arbuthnott, 2nd Lord Inverbervie (before 1648–June 16, 1682) was a Scottish peer.
He was the son of Robert Arbuthnot, 1st Viscount of Arbuthnott (d.1655) and Marjory Carnegie.
He married (1) by contract, Lady Elizabeth, daughter of William Keith, 7th Earl Marischal, on 25 March 1658 and had two children:
- Robert Arbuthnot, 3rd Viscount of Arbuthnott (8 October 1661–August 1694)
- Margaret Arbuthnot (before 1661-1744)
He married (2) by contract, Katherine, daughter of Robert Gordon of Pitlurg & Straloch, on 30 July 1667 and had children:
- Elizabeth Arbuthnot (born 1669)
- (Agnus) Anne Arbuthnot (1672-1742).
- John Arbuthnot of Fordoun (before 1682–January 1737), married Margaret Falconer and had several children, including:
- Alexander Arbuthnot (Baron of Exchequer) (bap 1674)
- Catherine Arbuthnot (c.1675-before 1746)
- Helen Arbuthnot (1675-1741)
- Jean Arbuthnot (bap 1678)
- Thomas Arbuthnot (1679-1745)
