Robert A. Rucho is a Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's thirty-ninth Senate district, including constituents in Mecklenburg county. A dentist from Matthews, North Carolina, Rucho is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in his fourth term in the state Senate.
