Robbyne Manning
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Robin Manning was a contestant on season 1 of UPN's reality TV show, America's Next Top Model. She comes from Memphis, Tennessee. Throughout the duration of the show, Robbyne portrayed herself as a devout Christian, and was often at odds with those who were not. Her abrasiveness and harsh attitude, however, made her fellow contestants feel that although she said she was a Christian, she did not act like one.
[edit] Before Top Model
Manning was crowned as Miss Tennessee State University, and Miss National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame in 1996, and also expressed that she was a former Miss Soybean during Top Model.[citation needed] She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
[edit] Acting career
Manning has guest starred in The Young and the Restless in 2004, starred as Lauren Garcia in the movie Without You (2005) a romantic drama, and co-starred in the movie Holla (2006).
