Robbinsdale Armstrong High School (full name Robbinsdale Neil A. Armstrong Senior High School) (abbr. RAHS or just AHS) is a High School located in Plymouth, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. It serves students from the cities of Robbinsdale, Crystal, New Hope, Plymouth and Golden Valley. It provides students with a wide range of educational opportunities, including core subjects, technology education, physical education, and the fine arts.
RAHS has a rich history of competition in academia, the fine arts, and athletics. The school's athletic programs have made it to state competitions on many occasions, and its scholars regularly place well above the national average on standardized testing and general academic performance. School tradition maintains that the main rival to Robbinsdale Armstrong is Robbinsdale Cooper, the other sizable high school in District 281, located in the suburb of New Hope. Together, Robbinsdale Armstrong and Robbinsdale Cooper regularly serve the secondary school population of over 4500 traditional students in the district.

[edit] School Overview
Robbinsdale Armstrong is a four year public high school located in Plymouth, Minnesota and it is one of two public high schools in the district. Armstrong Senior has a student population of 2341 and is 1% Native American, 5% Asian, 6% Hispanic, 14% Black, and 74% white.
[edit] Academic Assessment
Armstrong Senior has an excellent academic record and it is one the top academic high schools in the Northwest suburban area. However Armstrong Senior did not make Adequate Yearly Progress, despite being a top academic high school in Minnesota.
[edit] Athletics
The Armstrong Falcons have a heated rivalry with the Cooper Hawks and the two high schools rivalry is like that of their neighboring high schools, the Maple Grove Crimson and the Osseo Orioles. Armstrong Senior has had strong basketball teams and had a strong dominating football team in the early 2000s. The boys basketball team is young and includes two freshman, who are a sign of the youth and inexperience of the basketball team. Armstrong Senior has won many state championships despite it recent lack of success and they are listed here.
