Robbie Sinclair

Robert Mark Sinclair, regularly called Robbie, is a fictional character, the eldest son of Earl and Fran Sinclair on the television sitcom Dinosaurs. Robbie has a younger sister named Charlene, and a baby brother, Baby. He attends Bob La Brea High School.
Robbie was voiced by Jason Willinger. Leif Tilden performed inside the costume, and Steve Whitmire operated controls for the face and spikes.
Robbie often questions and rebels against old dinosaur traditions he sees no reason for, usually to the Earl's dismay. In the first-season finale "The Howling", Robbie refuses to celebrate his fifteenth birthday and coming of age by howling at the moon, feeling that he cannot make a meaningful howl if he sees no reason for it. In the second-season episode "I Never Ate For My Father", Robbie disappoints Earl again by choosing to be an herbivore rather than a carnivore like the rest of the family.
He is also seen as having an environmentalist view of the world. In "Endangered Species", Robbie learns about how the dinosaurs' predation of smaller prey could cause some species to become extinct and vows (and fails) to protect the last two grapdelites in the world. Technically, he failed to protect those who were the last ones when he made the vow, but their kids are alive, so he succedes to protect the real last ones.
