Robbie (Bob) O'Malley is a retired inter-county Irish Gaelic footballer for County Meath in Ireland. He enjoyed much success play inter-county football in the eighty's & early ninety's on the Meath team's managed by Sean Boylan. He made his Championship debut in 1984 against Westmeath. For Meath he usually played Corner Back. He played club football for St Colmcille's club in Laytown. During his playing career he has won 2 Senior All Ireland medals (1987 & 1988) as well as 5 Leinster medals, 3 National League Medals and a Centenary Cup Medal (A competition played to celebrate the one hundred anniversary of the GAA).. He has won 3 All-Star awards. In 1988 he was chosen as the Texaco Footballer of the Year.
