Robbie Moffat was a fictional character in the UK soap opera Brookside. He first appeared along with his brother, Clint when they met Jacqui Dixon and Katie Rogers on Jacqui's hen week in Benidorm. Clint and Robbie later came to the close. Robbie began dating Jacqui, not long after her aborted wedding to Nathan Cuddington and Clint began seeing Katie Rogers.

Robbie was a passenger in a stolen car being driven by Tim O'Leary in December 2000 when it was involved in a crash. He and Tim fled the scene uninjured, but his brother Clint and friend Mike Dixon were both injured and rushed to hospital.

As time went on Robbie began to show his true colors; Instead of helping Jacqui's brother Mike from a car wreck, he ran. He also arranged several burglaries on the house of Jacqui's father Ron's house.

Robbie also hit Jacqui during an argument.

Things went from bad to worse when Robbie decided to burgle Ron one final time, following a breakup with Jacqui. Clint went along to stop him. Ron woke up in the middle of the night and reached for a sawn-off shotgun, which he had recently bought. Robbie hid in the kitchen cupboard and Ron shot Clint.

Robbie later made several reappearances which included a hate campaign against the Dixons and he was accused of kidnapping of Jacqui's son, Harry.

Robbie made his last appearance in December 2001, where he was arrested after during his testimony at Ron's trial, where he admitted to burglary.

During 2002, Robbie committed suicide.
