Rob Zabrecky

Rob Zabrecky (born 1968, Burbank, California) is an American songwriter, actor, and magician. From 1989 to 1999 he was the singer/songwriter and bassist for the Los Angeles group Possum Dixon.

During the mid 1990s, he stumbled into magic and has since become a performing member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California. He is best known for an aberrant magician character he plays that applies mentalism and the artful use of elongated pauses during performances.

Additionally, he is the author of the chapbook “Music for Deaf People” (1992) and has contributed to the art/poetry journal “Smartish Pace,” “The Underground Guide to Los Angeles,” and other publications. He is also a member of the The Unholy Three (Magic Trio) and an auctioneer.
