Waiz
Rob Waiz (born 1963) is the mayor of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Waiz, a Democrat, was first elected mayor in 2003, defeating incumbent Tom Galligan in the May Democratic primary and then defeating Republican R. Monty Snelling in the November general election by nearly 20 percentage points.
Waiz is a graduate of Our Lady of Providence High School in Clarksville, Indiana and Indiana University Southeast. He and his wife, Susan, have two children and reside in the Foxboro subdivision.
Waiz is running for re-election in 2007.
