Rob Schrab is a comic book creator, actor, writer, and film producer. He works heavily with the alternative television network/website Channel 101. He has created the comic book Scud: The Disposable Assassin, the short film Robot Bastard, the television pilot Heat Vision and Jack starring Owen Wilson and Jack Black, and the Channel 101 shows Ringwald and Molly and Twigger's Holiday. He also co-wrote the script to the film Monster House (not related to the Discovery Channel television show by the same name). Currently, he is filming "Hell'oclock News", a series of teaser videos for the Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny movie website. His recent work was directing the video "Crooked Teeth" for Death Cab for Cutie for Directions. He and long time partner, Dan Harmon, wrote the feature film Monster House based off their original pitch in 1998. MH sat on the shelves for almost ten years until it was made feasible in 2006 by a CG process known as Mo-Cap. It was Harmon and Schrab's first feature deal and launched their career in the movie business.
Recently Schrab announced he would be finishing the Scud series with Scud #21 in a book that would include all the Scud issues to be released in summer 2007.
As of early 2007 he is a writer, producer and director on The Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central.
His last name rhymes with his first (rob-SHROB)
