[edit] Background
Patterson was born in Natick, Massachusetts.Patterson was NEVER a memeber of Korn, he was fired from Korn because he distributed Korn's music illegally, he was only a Touring memeber.[1].
During the 2006 See You on the Other Side world tour, Patterson and three other instrumentalists began playing onstage with the band during performances, wearing masks of characters from the See You on the Other Side album cover. He also contributed backing vocals.
Patterson was temporarily replaced by Christian Olde Wolbers of Fear Factory for the first three shows of the tour's European leg. No official statements were made to explain why Christian played only the first three shows (Portugal and Spain). Patterson resumed his role as touring guitarist for the rest of the tour.In February of 2007 Patterson was replaced by Clint Lowery (former Sevendust guitarist). Korn guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer made the announcement in a interview on HardDrive Radio stating "There were some things I was just unhappy with, and I wanted to try to get somebody in that I was comfortable sharing the stage with. He was fired due to "exploitative" issues per munky.
