Rob Fleming (driver)

Rob Fleming (born November 15, 1976, in Tampa, Florida) is a drifting driver in Formula D . The first to actually announce he is a homosexual. Rob has been a long time Nissan enthusiast since the late 90's. He founded one of the largest Nissan clubs in the world called Team Nismo in 1998. Since then Rob has been ever active in the Nissan community, and found his heart in drifting. He drives for Team Enjuku, a team sponsored by Enjuku Racing and Cooper Tires.
Rob was new to the series in 2005 and had a Top 16 finish at Round 2, Road Atlanta, and was a seated driver for several events. Rob, along with teammate Matt Vassallo, introduced Kumho's MX-C (colored Red tires) to the world at the 2005 Round 2 event in Atlanta. In 2006, Rob placed in Top 16 in Round 1 of Formula D at Long Beach, CA and again in Round 6 at Wall Township, NJ. Rob has competed in the D1 Grand Prix Drivers Search, local DG Trials events and Ter-Tech events.
Rob drove a 1993 Nissan 240SX for Enjuku Racing. The car features an s15 front end conversion, built SR20DET engine #066576W by Matt 'MBV' Vassallo, original chassis design and planning by Matt Vassallo, and numerous chassis and suspension upgrades by ER Motorsports.
As of February 07, 2007, Rob no longer drives for Enjuku Racing. Allegedly rob was uninformed that they were actively searching for other drivers to get funding, he was replaced by Caio Campos, a driver who does not hold a Formula Drift license for the 2006 or 2007 season. This is seen as a disgrace to the drifting community in Florida and the Southeastern United States in general, as Rob was not one of the founding fathers of the drift scene in that region, as well as none major contributor to the promotion of both Enjuku Racing and Cooper Tires in that region.
