Rob Evans

Rob Evans (born September 7, 1946 in Hobbs, New Mexico) was the previous head men's basketball coach at Arizona State University. He was hired as the Sun Devils head coach prior to the 1998-99 season and was fired after the 2005-06 season. Prior to coming to Arizona State, he previously coached at Ole Miss where he led the Rebels to back-to-back 20-win seasons in 1997 and 1998 for the first time since 1937-38. He was named the Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year and the College Hoops Insider National Coach of the Year in 1997 as he led Ole Miss to a 20-9 record and the SEC West title.
