Robert E. DiFrancesco (b. March 29, 1987) is a politician from the state of New York. DiFrancesco was elected chairman of the Croton on Hudson Republican Party in September 2005. At the time of his election DiFrancesco was just 18 years old making him the youngest elected Party chairman in New York State history.[1] DiFrancesco's first year as chair of the local committee was a particularly rocky one with both candidates for trustee and the veteran village justice all losing. In 2007, despite losing the Republican line, DiFrancesco was able to reverse the GOP's fortunes and help them onto an overwhelming victory with the re-election of the mayor, incumbent trustee and the defeat of a long time incumbent democrat. [2] DiFrancesco's political involvement has continued outside of village politics and roughly five weeks after the 2006 election DiFrancesco was tapped by newly elected State Assemblyman Greg Ball to lead his staff.[3] DiFrancesco has served as Ball's chief of staff since January, 2007.
