English: Robert Carlos De Large ( 1842-1874) was a member of the United States House of Representatives from South Carolina. He was born in Aiken, S.C. on March 15, 1842. He received such an education as was then attainable and was graduated from Wood High School, after which he became a farmer. He was a delegate to the South Carolina constitutional convention in 1868, and then a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1868 until 1870.
