Roald Aas (born March 25, 1928) is a former Norwegian speed skater.

Roald Aas was a good number two speed skater in Norway through the entire 1950s — after Hjalmar Andersen initially, then Knut Johannesen. He became Norwegian Champion once, in 1956; but came second a total of seven times.

Aas participated in all international championships between 1951 and 1960, and almost always came among the ten upper places. He won the bronze in the World Allround Speed Skating Championships in 1958, and in two European Speed Skating Championships, in 1957 and 1960. In the Oslo winter Olympcs he won the bronze on the 1,500 m, while he in the Squaw Valley Olympics of 1960 finally win a gold, shared with Jevgenij Grisjin, also on 1,500 m.

For his achievements as a speed skater, and also as a cyclist, Aas was awarded the prestigeous Egebergs Ærespris in 1956.
