Roald is a village on the island Vigra in the municipality of Giske, Norway. Its population (2006) is 711. [1]

It is also an old name for the former municipality Vigra. [2]

At Roald you can go fishing, taking a swim, and there is a nice guest harbour if you want to visite the island Vigra. At Roald you can find groseryshops, hairdressers, clothingshops and some other businesses. You can also travel with bus to the town of Ålesund from Roald.
