Roade
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Roade is a village in Northamptonshire, England. It lies on the A508, just south of Junction 15 of the M1 motorway, midway between Northampton and Milton Keynes.
The Northampton Loop of the West Coast Main Line railway goes through the village: there was a railway station here until 1964. There is a campaign to have it reopened for commuter traffic to Northampton and Milton Keynes.
The local secondary school, Roade School, is the only Sports College in Northamptonshire.
