Ramnath Goenka was a freedom fighter and the first news paper baron of India. His stance during the emergency (printing front page blank) to uphold democracy and fundamental rights conferred by the Indian Constitutions is still considered as a brave act, which few can follow.

A single photo from the archives of Indian Express is used in the article Ramnath Goenka for non-commercial pupose to highlight this man's contribution to Press and Democracy
