Rizvan Chitigov was a Chechen rebel field commander.

In the early 1990s Chitigov visited the United States and upon his return he oversaw military intelligence in the government of Aslan Maskhadov.

The FSB suspected that Chitigov had been maintaining ties with foreign intelligence services and was himself a CIA agent. [1]
