Talk:River Colne, Hertfordshire
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Source to sink (in an earlier state of this article). Sink is used in this sense for the flow of electricity! To geographers it means different: A stream from Malham Tarn disappears into the ground through sink holes in the limestone, and reappears at Airehead Springs. [1] -- RHaworth 05:10, 2005 Mar 3 (UTC)
[edit] Tributaries
See also Talk:Rivers of Great Britain#River Colne, Hertfordshire which lists four streams still not included in this article. Recent edits have thrown away the info that some of these streams are distributaries, eg. the Colne Brook. What we really need for this complicated river is a map. -- RHaworth 05:10, 2005 Mar 3 (UTC)
