The airline was established in 2003 and plans to launch scheduled transatlantic flights between the USA and Europe using either Airbus A330-200 or Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Initial services to be between Nice and Fort Lauderdale, Florida with a low-fare, two-class service. Other planned destinations include Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels and London Stansted Airport [1]. It plans up to three weekly services from the US northeast, East Coast and southern Florida to the likes of Berlin, Brussels, London Stansted, Nice and Rome. The RivieraJet management team includes low-cost pioneer Freddie Laker and Virgin Atlantic's former US head David Tait. Its founder and chief executive is the IT entreprenuer Thomas Bonetti [2].
