Riverwood High School is a prestigious international magnet school located in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The student population represents forty-four languages and eighty-nine different nationalities. Students receive the prestigious International Bacculaureate diploma upon completion of the program. Riverwood offers eight different languages and has an international staff. The school's mascot is the Raider. The school was voted by Newsweek as the #74 "Best High School In The World" in their annual survey. This school's girl's cross country team placed 2nd in the state of Georgia in the AAA state meet for the second time in 3 years.
