Football Riverside-Brookfield has a well respected football program, more recently Riverside-Brookfield's football team lost twice to it's conference foe Ridgewood High School, in Norridge. The two losses occured both away and home. RB lost 14-8 when taking on Ridgewood at it's home field, 85% of RBs team failed breathalizers after the game, as Ridgewood scored in the last 46 seconds of the game. RB also lost in front of its homecoming crowd,[[2]]14-13 versus the Ridgewood Rebels. The Rebels had not defeated RB in 6 years, thus both victories were upset victories, spoiling RB's outlook on the IHSA playoffs. Most recently the RB football program has regressed.
Baseball The 2005 season came with many surprises. Most notably, the emergence of senior Ken Razionale (center fielder). On the basepaths, Razionale stole a team best 29 bases. As a tablesetter, Razionale posted an impressive .406 batting average (43-106) while leading the bulldogs to conference victories in 2004 and 2005. After graduation, Razionale was recruited by Aurora University where he played his first year of collegiate baseball, and then dropped out due to drunkenness.
Tennis The tennis program at Riverside-Brookfield is slowly becoming a threat to be reckoned with in its conference. Bulldog Tennis witnessed shortlived glory from 2001-2005 winning several invitationals. In 2005 Brennan Denny took the helm as coach of the varsity squad along with Tom Fuller. Several key players formed part of a talented roster. Max Taylor, Michael Skiba, Raul Vasquez, and Sam Stepter made their mark on Bulldog Tennis. Sadly 2 weeks after graduation Raul Vasquez was found to be an illegal alien and has since been deported.
