River Liza

The River Liza is a river in the Cumbrian Lake District in England.
The Liza flows from its source below Windy Gap on Great Gable through a steep-sided and heavily wooded valley to Ennerdale Water.
The name of the Liza derives from Old Norse ljós á, confering a meaning of "light (or shining) river".
