River Evenlode

The Evenlode is a small river joining the Thames 5 km north-west of Oxford. It rises near Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswold Hills and flows south-east passing near Stow-on-the-Wold, Charlbury, Bladon, and Eynsham.
The river Evenlode passes through many towns in Oxfordshire including Ascott under Wychwood, Chadlington, Charlbury and Cassington. The river Evenlode joins the Thames several miles down river from Cassington. It is a small tributary to the river Thames which is largely privatley owned, used for fishing and other leisure activities, although powered vehicles are forbidden.
